Jeff Blankenbicker

Hello, my name is Jeff Blankenbicker and I have the privilege of serving as an Elder in the Lord’s Church. My wife, Wendy, and I have been married for 35 years and we have been blessed with two children, both of which are married and have children of their own. Our son, Travis, is married to Vicki and has given us two grandchildren Grace and Bridger. Our daughter, Jordan, is married to Brian and has also blessed us with two grandchildren, Broderick and Boden “Bowie”. I am currently employed as a Senior Systems Analyst at Paradigm Solutions International, which is a Disaster Recovery Software and Consulting Firm headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and being a human trampoline for my grandchildren.

My wife and I enjoy the blessing of our log home located in the mountainous setting on Wild Cat Road.

Wendy and I are both very involved in the Lord’s work in Bolivar. I have served as an Elder since 1989. I have also served as a deacon. I continue teaching Sunday School for whichever age group there is a need for. I have provided supply preaching for our local congregation, as well as, some of our sister churches, written Sunday School Lessons for the Restoration Harold, contributed to one of the study books for Barnabas Ministries and have spoken at the Men’s Retreat at Camp Christian and at GAPFest, sponsored by GAP Ministries. Wendy is one of our key Ministry Coordinators; she also is active in a Women’s Home Bible Study Group. She has a wonderful singing voice and uses it to serve the Lord. Wendy also heads up our Praise Team and coordinates the songs for our services.

As a servant of the Lord and one of His shepherds, I would encourage anyone with a desire to worship our God, learn more about Him, gain a deeper understanding of His Word and desires to meet true Christian friends to come and meet us.

Doug Titmus

Hello, my name is Doug Titmus and I am currently serving as a deacon here at the First Church of Christ in Bolivar. I have been serving as a deacon for 23 years, as well as, other activities for the Lord. I have been involved with the youth in the congregation for many years. I have served as a leader of the youth groups and also volunteer during Vacation Bible School. I am currently involved in the multimedia ministry, which operates the audio & video components during the morning services.

My wife's name is Carla and she is also active in the Lord's work. She maintains the prayer and hospital list and also prepares the weekly bulletin for the Sunday morning service. Carla is also part of the rotation of Sunday School secretary and as a greeter. I have 2 children. Our oldest is Brandon. Our daughter is Kristen and she is married to Justin Fisher.

I am currently a 6th grade reading teacher at the Blairsville-Saltsburg Elementary School. In my free time, I enjoy metal working, wood working, & wood craving.
